Advice and support for all employees of the TH Mittelhessen
Since March 2003, qualified psychologist and fairness coach Nathalie Krahé has been offering all employees professional and confidential support as an external consultant commissioned by the TH Mittelhessen.
The focal points are in the areas:
- Coping with upcoming or acute conflicts
- Management of personal and collegial issues
- Improving communication and cooperation
- Health, stress and burnout prevention
- Support in personal crisis situations
- Counseling on substance abuse and addiction
The area of responsibility also includes advising superiors, colleagues and the staff council on how to help employees who are in a difficult situation.
Upon express request and after consultation with the person seeking advice, additional people can be involved in individual discussions. These can be members of the staff council, supervisors or colleagues, for example.
Mediated as part of the discreet consultation PERfair assistance to sensitize the people involved in the conflict to increase their conflict resolution potential. The goal is to deal successfully and satisfactorily with disputes in the workplace. The attitude of the consultant towards all those involved remains neutral, ie it is allowed no bias or partisanship exist in favor of individual participants. In the conflict resolution, the consultant never represents just one side, but will try to do justice to all parties equally on a factual level.
It is also Ms. Krahé's job to support employees if necessary support in the selection of competent offers of help and to provide them with suitable specialist agencies or therapeutic measures.

with PERfair, the THM offers one confidential, professional and effective advice on. It helps to protect employees from damage to their health and from damage to their social and professional reputation.
The offer is also intended to help to improve the working atmosphere at THM , to increase the job satisfaction of employees at all hierarchical levels, and thus to maintain or increase the performance and motivation of employees.
In the area of problem management and conflict resolution, a culture of fair cooperation stimulated, on the basis of which points of friction can be used as an opportunity to learn to deal with controversial positions in an appropriate manner, to endure differences of opinion, to regard disputes as everyday events and to develop strategies to deal with them.
The aim of conflict resolution is to ensure workable structures and to strengthen cooperation and communication. Conflict resolution leads to transparency, efficiency, clarity and effectiveness; the working atmosphere becomes more acceptable and factual.
Above all, clarification in a team/department takes time. Basically, it can be assumed that every conflict in which mediation is sought is older or has deeper roots. The more complex the issue in question, the older a conflict is, the deeper it affects those affected and the larger the team, the more complex the approaches to work with.
