Why is there the 8th change to the General Provisions for Bachelor's and Master's Examination Regulations of the THM ?
This was necessary in the context of the HHG amendment of December 28, 2021.

The 8th amendment to the General Provisions for Bachelor's and Master's Examination Regulations come into effect in the winter semester 2022/2023.
What is a continuing education paid bachelor's degree?
A continuing education bachelor's degree is a fee-based undergraduate degree that is generally aimed at people who have already acquired vocational training in the secondary educational sector, who build on the knowledge and skills acquired in this vocational training, build on them, deepen and expand them and Adapts the learning situation of this group of people, in particular through digital offers, distance learning parts or offers in off-peak times. Further admission conditions result from the subject-specific regulations.
What is a informal part-time study?
As far as possible, the course can be carried out in full or in part as an informal part-time course in accordance with state law. The possibility of informal part-time studies is to be regulated in the subject-specific regulations. In the case of approved informal part-time studies, there is no entitlement to the provision of a special teaching and study offer. In any case, a students advisory service is strongly recommended before taking up informal part-time studies.
What is a formal part-time study?
In addition, separate part-time degree courses can be offered at the THM (formal part-time studies). The formal part-time degree courses represent a special organizational offer, in which the living conditions of students with children and relatives in need of care, top athletes and professionals who cannot devote more than half of their working hours to their studies on average are taken into account.
When is there a religious ban on work?
A religious ban on work exists when the members of the respective religion are forbidden to work on certain days (e.g. the Sabbath in Judaism). What is meant here is not belonging to a religion, but the actual ban on working in this religion.
Am I entitled to a substitute examination if I am subject to a religious ban on working at the time of the examination(s)?
Substitute dates for examinations that cannot be attended due to religious work bans will be set upon a justified application to the examination board. The affiliation to the corresponding religious community and the associated ban on working must be proven in writing with the uniform university application (Annex 6). As a rule, the application must be submitted within two weeks of the announcement of the examination date.
May I have all my exams or parts of exams that are conducted in oral form offered digitally as a video conference in justified exceptional cases?
All examinations or parts of examinations that are conducted in oral form can be held digitally as video conferences in justified exceptional cases. The consent of the examinees (Appendix 7) must be obtained in advance. If approval is not given, alternative examinations are to be offered in consultation with the examination board.
