Office for Equal Opportunities and Diversity

Structure:

To consolidate and strengthen existing activities, stakeholders, and resources in the area of ​​diversity and equality, the presidium established the Diversity Office (Office for Equal Opportunities and Diversity) at the end of 2024. Its goal is to promote and increase the visibility of diversity in all its forms. As a central point of contact for questions and initiatives related to this topic, the Diversity Office supports both students and staff of THM in actively cultivating a culture of mutual respect.

The Diversity Office consists of a number of permanent members. These include:

• the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner (ADB), 
• the contact person for anti-Semitic incidents,
• the legally established contact persons for the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), 
• the women's and equality officers (FuGB), 
• the representative body for severely disabled employees (SBV) and 
• Representatives of students with chronic illnesses (SmB/K).
