Information about the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen and your studies, access to your email inbox, the cafeteria menu, and soon, your timetable in your personal calendar: all this is offered by the THM's UniNow app. Since the beginning of 2022, THM has been cooperating with UniNow GmbH, providing students and university staff with news and services via the app. Even before the start of the cooperation, around 2,000 THMstudents had already used the UniNow service – one reason why the university decided to adopt this app. 

Most Department student associations and the AStA (General Student Committee) have their own channels. Starting in the winter semester of 2022/23, channels for university sport , alumni, the International Office, and, specifically for first-year students, the "STEP - Study Introduction Programme" channel with information for a successful start to their studies, will be launched. This provides a comprehensive app tailored to the needs of students, offering access to campus news, the cafeteria menu, grades, timetables, calendars, to-do lists, and more. In addition to the informational channels, which can be followed according to individual interests, numerous study-related data points are also available. 

The app allows users to view their university library loan account, renew books directly, check their grades, and calculate their GPA. Many other THMsystems, such as the Moodle eLearning platform, are also directly accessible through the app. The career portal provides students with access to a wide range of opportunities in the business world, including theses, internships, trainee programmes, and post-graduation jobs. The app and its associated processes are also audited and certified annually by TÜV.
