Make the economy sustainable

The comprehensive transformation of economy and society towards more sustainability is the challenge of our century and crucial for our common future! In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Key issues on the agenda, which is to be implemented by 2030, include climate change and biodiversity, poverty and social inequality. Companies play a crucial role here because they have a large lever to achieve goals - for example in reducing greenhouse gases or improving working conditions in global supply chains.

In the new bachelor's degree in “Business Administration - Sustainability Management” at the Department of Economy, students receive academic business training that is based on the renowned foundation of the business administration (B.Sc.) of the THM (top che ranking) and at the same time aimed at the requirements of a sustainable economy.
