At mission:me, students make themselves and their future their “mission”: For two weeks, they explore their skills and interests on the THMcampus and experience STEM Degree Courses directly at the university.
The practical experience helps them find the right course of study or to review their choice. The two-week study orientation is divided into missions and quests.
During missions , students work daily in laboratories on typical course content from the fields of computer science, natural sciences and technology.
Quests are smaller additional tasks such as reflections on the missions visited, lecture attendance, conversations with students, or research in the library.

Networking through blended learning
Through all activities in mission:me, participants collect points and receive continuous feedback on their Further steps.
Study orientation instead of career orientation
Pupils who are more interested in university studies than in vocational training can complete a two-week university internship with mission:me instead of a company internship.
Who is allowed to participate?
The study orientation program mission:me is aimed at students from grade 11 onwards who are interested in computer science, natural sciences and/or technology. However, those who have already graduated from high school and are interested in studying at university can also participate in mission:me.
Free participation
Because places are limited, individual registration in the form of an application is required for free participation. Students should clearly explain in their application why they want to participate in mission:me and what interests them about STEM subjects.
Students should address their applications to Julius Jay Butler.
