In this predominantly English-taught Master’s programme, you will learn to identify sustainability challenges and opportunities across a wide range of industries and to develop innovative technological and entrepreneurial solutions to address them.
As a graduate, you will be equipped to design, implement and effectively communicate sustainability strategies within organizations. You will facilitate constructive dialogue between decision-makers and stakeholders and guide organizations through complex transformation processes.

About the programme
Programme content
The programme is structured around four key areas:
- Sustainability and Society
- Sustainable Engineering
- Sustainable Economy and Management
- Transformation and Innovation
Across these areas, you will acquire and deepen your knowledge while applying interdisciplinary approaches to address sustainability challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By adopting a systems-thinking perspective, you will learn how to integrate technological, economic and societal dimensions and develop innovative solutions to complex global challenges.
Through practice-oriented projects and interdisciplinary teamwork, the programme follows the principles of challenge-based learning. Working on real-world challenges, you will gain valuable experience in shaping and managing transformation processes.
Upon graduation, you will be well prepared to apply these competencies in companies, organizations and NGOs—contributing as an active driver of change in the global transition toward sustainability.

Applicants must submit an application including the following documents:
All documents must be issued in German or English. Documents in other languages must be submitted together with an officially certified translation into German or English. Documents issued in English will be reviewed by the admissions committee. |
