The introductory events for the summer semester 2026 start on April 7, 2026
This is what you need to do before starting your studies:
- Chip card: Once you are enrolled, you will receive an email informing you that you can pick up your student ID card (a chip card) at the InfoCenter . This card also serves as your semester ticket. However, it must first be printed at one of the update terminals.
- THM user account: You generate your initial password in the THM e-campus. You can then use it to activate your THM account to use THM's digital services. With this account you will receive your own email address at THM.
- We use the online platform Moodle at THM to provide our digital teaching materials and to communicate with you. You can find THM's Moodle tutorial videos on YouTube at the following link. All courses offered by our departementcan be found at the following link. To log in, you will need your user account credentials (see step 1).
- An important source of information for your studies is our Moodle course ***INFODIENST***. This is a departementinternal Moodle course with important information, including a mailing list. Click here to access the ***INFODIENST*** in Moodle.
- You must also enroll in the Moodle course for the first semester , "Starting your studies in Business Administration, Summer Semester 2026" (for the study program ). Additionally, you must register for each Moodle course within the first semester modules: First Semester Business Administration Modules
It is important that you actively check your university emails daily. Our webmail portal, https://webmail.thm.de available for this purpose.
Contact with students of THM is exclusively via the university's email address.

If you need help or want to refresh your knowledge in one or more of these subjects, the following bridging courses are offered:

During your time at the THM departement of Business, you will become acquainted with the regularly held company fairs, practical forums, summer and winter festivals, the departementjournal, and various excursions as part of your studies. These activities, as well as your graduation celebrations after successful completion of your studies, are financially supported by the Association for the Promotion of Studies and Business (Förderkreis Studium und Wirtschaft e. V.). The association's purpose is to promote research, teaching, and the academic culture at the THM departement 's connections departementto industry. These practical contacts and the resulting network have proven to be a win-win situation for all involved, whether as individual or corporate members, since its founding in 1975.
