Each Majormodule can also be completed as an elective module.

All elective modules have 4 semester hours per week and 6 credit points.

One module from the Bachelor'sstudy program in Business Administration - Sustainability Management can be taken as an elective module. (The module numbers begin with "NM").

Modules numbered 760-770 are supplementary/interdisciplinary modules (Category B according to the examination regulations). A maximum of two elective modules from Category B may be chosen.

For the degree program, students can complete elective modules at foreign universities totaling a maximum of 30 credit points. These elective modules must be chosen exclusively from the offerings of accredited degree programs at foreign universities – generally in the field of economics. The selection of elective modules at foreign universities is agreed upon in a personal consultation with the country representative or their deputy and documented in writing. Students are responsible for their own studies in the foreign elective modules. This includes ensuring that participation in the courses, including taking the examinations, is arranged in writing in advance with the country representative, and that the credit points earned are documented and verified by the foreign university where the modules are taken.
