Mathis: The approximately four-week summer school in Lisbon was the perfect compromise for me, as a full semester abroad would have been too long. I had a fantastic time in the city and in the sun, but above all, I'm grateful for the wonderful people I met there. All of this, combined with the module on brand management at the business school, made it an unforgettable experience. It also helped me grow personally and gave me the confidence that you can adapt very quickly to other cultures and ways of life.

Kira: My semester abroad at Victoria University in Melbourne was an unforgettable experience that enriched me personally. The university is modern, very internationally oriented, and offers everything a student needs.
Alongside my studies, I was able to fully enjoy Australian life and explore the country. Australia is beautiful, and Melbourne, with its open, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and vibrant city life, simply had it all. The daily life there, in particular, made the semester so special for me.
I returned with many impressions, wonderful memories, and new friendships, and I would do it again in a heartbeat :)

Linda: My semesters abroad in Japan and Scotland taught me a lot about interacting with other cultures. At the same time, they helped me adapt better to different situations and learn more about myself. This has made me more balanced and self-confident. So, if you want to develop personally as well as academically, I highly recommend a semester abroad. These are experiences you'll remember for the rest of your life. And with a bit of luck, you'll return home at the end of your semester with another home in your heart :)

Eliana: My best experience was definitely my semester abroad in Bologna. Although the departement of Business didn't have a direct Erasmus partner university in Italy , the International Office did everything they could to make my long-awaited semester abroad in Italy possible (a big thank you to Ms. Siebert!). Since I hadn't had the opportunity to do a semester abroad during my bachelor's studies, I was all the more delighted that it could be arranged so easily at the Department of Business at THM. I spent a fantastic six months in my home country, met some great new people, and had an unforgettable time.

Yu-Chen: During my six-month internship at Wipotec GmbH 's headquarters in Germany, I had the opportunity to experience the local work culture and see how processes function in this industry. I was able to apply what I had learned during my studies to real-world projects, which made the work both interesting and meaningful. This experience helped me gain a clearer understanding of the career path I want to pursue after graduation. Overall, it was a valuable and rewarding experience.

Anja: My internship at Lindt & Sprüngli in Aachen was a fantastic experience all around. I was particularly impressed by the diverse mix of analytical and creative tasks. From monthly reports using tools like Circana to competitor analysis and trend research, all the way to design briefings, it was all there. The collaboration with external agencies also offered exciting insights. I was able to learn an incredible amount in a short time. I highly recommend that everyone gain work experience through internships!

Ana Paula: An internship in the hospitality industry at Odyssey Hotel Group was both exciting and rewarding. I had the opportunity to collaborate with various brands and develop marketing materials and strategies to increase B2C visits to the hotels – not just for overnight stays, but also for events. My main project focused on the digital realm: analyzing and redesigning the website of one of the group's brands to improve user experience and engagement.
The international team I worked with was incredibly supportive and always ready to help.
This internship not only allowed me to explore a field I'm truly passionate about, but also provided a fantastic opportunity for professional development.
