3rd semester

The master's thesis usually follows in the 3rd semester. If you have only studied six semesters of your bachelor's degree, you will first complete a semester abroad, a practical phase or additional modules and then write your thesis in the 4th semester. All other students also have this option on a voluntary basis.

Important: Flexible formats to suit module content: Some modules take place as concentrated block courses during the "lecture-free period," and exam periods are also scheduled stress-free outside of lecture time. Semester abroad and internship
Students with a six-semester Bachelor's degree can earn up to 30 ECTS credits, for example, through a semester abroad or an internship. Students with a 210 ECTS Bachelor's degree can also choose an additional voluntary semester abroad. Further details can be found here.
