International experience and intercultural understanding are key elements in a growing global economy. Therefore your studies at THM Business School will not only give you the opportunity to extent your expertise in International Business Administration, but will also allow you to improve your language skills and to develop your social skills to upgrade your value at the job market. We welcome international students from all over the world every semester to study with our local students. Students from our partner universities are welcome to study at THM Business School for one or two semesters.
Requirements
In order to join our exchange program it will be important that you:
- are enrolled at one of our Partner Universities THM Business School
- your home university agrees to your study plan
- you will have completed 90 ECTS at your home university upon arrival
- you have sufficient knowledge of English to follow lectures, read texts and actively participate in group work.
Moreover, you should be prepared to meet other cultures and to advance your German and English language skills.
Please note: Before submitting your application you should first contact the international/study abroad office of your own university to get an approval for your study abroad period at THM (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen).
WHAT WILL YOU STUDY?
THM Business School offers a wide range of English taught modules to choose from. An overview of the Bachelor modules can be found here: Modules taught in English
Students with German Language skills of level B2 or better are welcome to choose from the full module choice from our BA Business Administration.
The Business School cooperates closely with the departments MuK, Logistic Management, and MND, Business Information Systems, which significantly expands the offer of modules taught in English. For more information see the section THInC (THM International Campus).
For Postgraduate students the following Master degree programs are available:
- Digital Business (MSc)
- International Marketing (MSc) (taught in English)
- Personalmanagement (MSc)
- Unternehmenssteuerung (MSc)
While MSc International Marketing is completely in English, each of the other programs also has various modules taught in English, for further information, please contact the International Exchange Coordinator, Heike Siebert.
We recommend attending the Module "Intercultural Competence" which takes place in March (usually the first two weeks of March) as a good preparation for your international experience. Furthermore attending this course will enable you to network with other international as well as German students.
Students willing to improve their German skills can do a language course before or while studying at the Business School. THM cooperates with the Justus Liebig University of Gießen (JLU) where free German evening courses are offered for exchange students.
